The minor characters were also pretty great, especially Megan’s mom.Īlso, despite Megan and her friend Slate riding at an upper-level horse barn in the beginning of the book, there are no mentions of a snooty rich girl. Both had some emotional baggage after losing an important individual in their lives. Their romance was believable and gradual it didn’t come on too suddenly or seem forced. They were both awesome people on their own, and even better as a couple. Don’t be fooled though, it’s a lot better than what I just made it sound like. Ok, I admit it: my above description of the book is pretty poor. Megan must train Salem to compete in a show jumping competition. Most of us have no idea how to answer these questions, nor are we aware that color pervades nearly all aspects of life, from the subatomic realm and the natural world to human culture and psychology. ![]() ![]() In this beautiful and thorough investigation, The Secret Language of Color celebrates and illuminates the countless ways in which color, colors our world. ![]() |
